How it works
Gesture drawing - quick, loose studies under a tight time limit - is the fastest way to improve. This timer runs a session from your own reference images: pick a folder of pictures (they are read straight from your device, never uploaded), choose an interval such as 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes, and the app shuffles through them, advancing automatically when the time runs out. A countdown and progress show where you are, and you can pause, skip, or go back.
It is the classic croquis or life-drawing class format without the class: load a set of figure photos, set 30-second poses for a warm-up, then longer poses, and draw along. Because the images stay on your machine, you can use any reference set you own, completely offline.
Example. Load a folder of 40 figure references, set a 30-second interval, and start. Draw each pose in the time given; when it elapses the next reference appears automatically. After the warm-up, switch to 2-minute poses for more finished studies.
