Perspective grid generator
Build a 1, 2, or 3-point perspective grid with an adjustable horizon and line density, then export a PNG to draw on. Everything runs in your browser.
How it works
Perspective grids give a drawing its sense of depth, and ruling them by hand is slow and error-prone. This tool generates one for you: choose one, two, or three vanishing points, position the horizon line and the points, and set how many guide lines radiate from each. The grid is drawn live on a canvas in your browser, so you can see exactly how the space will read before you commit.
Export the result as a PNG to print and draw on, or to drop under a sketch in any drawing app. One-point is ideal for interiors and roads, two-point for buildings seen at an angle, and three-point for dramatic high or low views. Everything is generated on your device and never uploaded, so it works offline.
Example. Pick two-point perspective, place the vanishing points near the left and right edges on a horizon set a third of the way down, and raise the line density. Export the PNG and draw a street of buildings whose edges all recede correctly to the two points.
FAQ
What is the difference between 1, 2, and 3 point perspective?
One-point has a single vanishing point and suits head-on views like a corridor. Two-point uses two points on the horizon for objects seen at an angle, like a building corner. Three-point adds a third point above or below for dramatic looking-up or looking-down views.
Can I move the vanishing points and horizon?
Yes. You position the horizon line and each vanishing point and choose how many guide lines fan out from them, so the grid matches the scene you want to draw.
Can I print or trace the grid?
Yes. The grid is exported as a PNG you can print to draw on, or place as a guide layer under a sketch in a drawing app.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The grid is generated entirely in your browser on a canvas. Nothing is uploaded, so it works offline.
